In 1969, Ted, Margaret and Kevin moved to a rented flat in Caterham Valley. Flat 1, 264 Croydon Road, Caterham, Surrey. What seemed to be a great chance of personal and financial success, the greengrocery businesses was sold on (D & M Fruiters) and closed down, the Greengrocery round due to family/personal and legislative reasons. Ted became a builder once more!
